Founded in Munich in 2025, Loxo Labs GmbH develops modular infrastructure systems that enable scalable autonomous drone operations. Our solutions cover the secure transport, storage, power supply and autonomous deployment of unmanned aerial systems.
You own the software an operator uses to command a fleet — the backend, the interface in front of it, and the security architecture behind both.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the architecture of our command and control platform: backend services in C# / .NET and the operator-facing web interface
Design and build the real-time link between the platform and deployed units, including protocol design over UDP/TCP and behaviour under degraded or contested connectivity
Own the operator interface: fleet status, mission state and telemetry visualisation, designed for use under time pressure and with minimal crew
Own security architecture across authentication, authorisation, audit and data at rest, appropriate to a defence deployment context
Establish platform engineering practice — deployment, observability, automated testing and release processes
Set architecture, review and release standards
YOUR PROFILE
10+ years building and operating production backend systems, with meaningful full-stack exposure
Expert C# / .NET and ASP.NET Core; strong TypeScript and React
Real-time or telemetry-heavy systems experience: streaming data, state synchronisation, and graceful degradation when the link drops
Network protocol depth beyond HTTP — you have designed, debugged and tuned protocols over UDP/TCP

End-to-end ownership of a subsystem, from architecture through qualification to customer delivery
A ten-person company, which means your decisions reach hardware in weeks rather than quarters
An interdisciplinary team drawn from automotive and motorsport, aerospace, defence and industrial manufacturing
Direct influence on our engineering standards and processes as we scale
SECURITY AND EQUAL OPPORTUNITY
Because we work with customers in defence and critical infrastructure, a security clearance under the German Security Clearance Act (SÜG) may be required for this position.
