Founded in Munich in 2025, Loxo Labs GmbH develops modular infrastructure systems that enable scalable autonomous drone operations. Our solutions cover the secure transport, storage, power supply and autonomous deployment of unmanned aerial systems.
You own the power path end to end — shore, vehicle and on-board sources into a battery system that keeps a drone fleet charged, conditioned and ready to launch.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the electrical architecture of the system: power distribution, DC/DC conversion, battery management and charging topology across multiple UAV types
Design and qualify power electronics for field use — wide input range, transient and reverse-polarity protection, operation across the full temperature envelope
Lead EMC and electrical safety compliance, including the test campaign and the resulting qualification evidence
Own battery system design: cell selection, thermal behaviour, safety architecture and transport compliance
Take schematic and PCB designs from concept through simulation, layout, bring-up, validation and transfer to manufacturing
Define the electrical interface specification for onboarding new OEM drone types
Own harness design, connector selection and supplier qualification for electrical assemblies
Set our electrical design and review standards, and mentor working students
YOUR PROFILE
10+ years in power electronics or electrical hardware
Deep power electronics expertise: switching converter design, magnetics, thermal design and efficiency optimisation, backed by measurement rather than simulation alone
Substantial battery system experience — battery management architecture, cell balancing, state estimation, safety and transport regulation
Expert-level schematic capture and multilayer PCB layout
Proven EMC compliance work: you have designed for it, tested for it and fixed it
